It is known as a famous spot for cherry blossoms, new green leaves, and autumn foliage. The tranquil Seto Inland Sea with its sprinkling of islands seen from the train window is an incredible sight. eating

Known as the "Kofu of the West," Sera is full of fruit. Grapes, Japanese pears, strawberries, blueberries, apples — fruit-picking experiences are held in every season. Vegetables such as asparagus are also abundant. "Matsukinoko" mushrooms, which look just like matsutake mushrooms, are delicious when fried as tempura. You should try them! The roadside stations are busy with people selling farm-fresh fruit and vegetables. Mihara is famous for its Yassa octopus. Pushed about by the sea currents among the islands, these octopuses have short, sturdy legs which offer a chewy texture unlike those from other regions. Their flavor is also exceptional. Mihara-Sera allows you to feel the joy of catching, gathering, and eating the bounties of the land and sea.
